Founder's Note

I grew up believing there was a right way to succeed.

In Hong Kong, that path was clear. Finance. Tech. Stability. Respectability. Fashion was a hobby. A distraction. Something you loved quietly, but never chose seriously. I loved it anyway, but I learned early not to say that part out loud.

So I did what made sense. I worked early. I built businesses young. I taught myself skills that were taken seriously, then went on to work in venture capital within a family office. I built a career that looked right on paper, one people understood and approved of.

And yet, fashion never left.

I’m autistic, and I experience the world intensely. Creativity isn’t optional for me, it’s regulating. When my life became consumed by work that left no room for visual expression or exploration, I felt disconnected from myself.

That need for expression never disappeared.

It showed up in how I trained, how I structured my days, how I presented myself. Over time, I began to see that appearance and way of life are deeply entangled, that the way I dressed influenced how I moved through my day. Style was not purely aesthetic, but an extension of intention, and a quiet form of self-respect.

Choosing to reorient my time away from a “good” job toward something uncertain made people uncomfortable. I was told I was being unrealistic. That I was throwing away something valuable. But what they couldn’t see was that nothing about this decision was impulsive.

ACSYTOSIN is built on the same principles that shaped everything else in my life. Commitment. Consistency. Systems that support long-term growth. The belief that becoming your best self isn’t about motivation, but about structure.

This brand exists for people who want to feel capable and confident in their lives. Who train, think, plan, and show up with intention. Who understand that discipline and style are not opposites, but partners.

If this story proves anything, it’s that the boundaries we’re taught to accept are often narrower than necessary. Seriousness and style are not opposing values. Structure does not preclude expression. Ambition does not require self-erasure.

ACSYTOSIN is my way of walking alongside you in that process.
